Welcome to Youth Mission and Ministry at FPC!
Our mission in youth mission and ministry is for all middle and high school kids to be introduced to a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ, to know the gift of being part of the community of believers, to be encouraged on the journey of discipleship, and to be part of what God is doing in the world.
We seek to accomplish this through weekly youth group gatherings where we both play and learn about our relationship with God, special events where we build friendships through fun and adventure, and annual opportunities to participate in mission.
All Youth Groups begin the week after Labor Day!
5th & 6th grade
Fifth and sixth graders gather at the church each Monday night during the school year at 6:30PM for fun with friends and some time learning about how knowing God makes a difference in our middle school life.
7th & 8th grade
Seventh and eighth graders meet each Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. during the school year at the church for fun with good friends, some goofy good times, and some time spent learning more about God's love for us.
High School
High school students gather Sundays at 6:00 p.m. for dinner, fun, time with friends, and time spent discovering a life lived with God.
Summer Mission
7th & 8th grade and high school youth groups each take a mission trip in the summer to discover what God is up to in the world outside of our hometown as we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus for others in need. We look forward to traveling for mission again in the summer of 2023. To find out how to get involved, please contact Pastor Hilary Downs.
Summer Camp
Every June, 3rd-8th graders are invited to a week of fun, worship, and friendships at our summer camp hosted by our own Pueblo Presbytery at Ponderosa Camp in Larkspur. Registration happens in the spring.
