The prophesy of Malachi ends asking a question pertinent to every time in history, including our own. The prophet asked: "Does it pay to serve God?" When we look at the world, it so often feels as if the liars and the cheaters and the bullies are the people who get ahead, not those who seek to serve God. When we observe those who seemingly get ahead in this world, it can make it difficult to daily choose to serve God. What makes it hard for you to choose to serve God with the living of your life?
