Matthew shared four more parables after the Parable of the Wicked Tenants that Jesus told while in Jerusalem during the final week of his life. The first was the Parable of the Wedding Banquet. This parable reflects on how those invited to a wedding banquet respond. We can equate the wedding banquet to our relationship with God. By the end of the parable all people have been invited and the question is, how did people respond to the invitation? That is the question before all of us: how do we respond to God's invitation?
