Habakkuk's prophesy ended with Habakkuk lifting a prayer to God. The prayer began remembering how his ancestors had known and experienced the just work of God. Habakkuk decided he too would trust in God's rule to prevail, which allowed him to live with joy and strength. Habakkuk's prophesy challenges us to also trust that God's rule will prevail. We live in a time when such trust can be difficult if not seemingly impossible. Do you think you can choose to trust that God's rule will prevail?
