Baptism! For the last few years, we have been taking a Sunday at the beginning of January to remember and reflect on our baptisms. In our Christian tradition baptism is an important theological idea and theme connected to or spiritual journeys. Psalm 29 ends with the phrase, "May the Lord give strength and peace to the people". How does one's baptism connect to strength and peace that come from God? That is the question we want to reflect on as we again focus attention on the reality of our baptisms.
