This Easter we consider the well-known story of Jesus' resurrection alongside Jesus' core Parable of the Sower. In Luke's telling of the Easter story everyone is puzzled--both the men and the women. Peter himself left the empty tomb puzzled. In that moment, what kind of soil was Peter's heart and mind? When it comes to God's amazing gift of resurrection what type of soil do we have in our hearts and minds?
